Opening Up an 80s Home

This 80s built home needed room to breathe so we took down walls to open it up. It’s important to note that we kept the character worth keeping: original block detailing and those small, funky windows that give the house its personality.

The client entrusted the entire project to us and their contractor while they lived from their main home in Canada, full creative reins and lots of trust. Every room was transformed: European oak floors throughout, a light blue kitchen island as a playful anchor, spa-style showers, and colorful tile bringing warmth and personality room by room.

For a home that meant so much to this family, that kind of trust, from a distance, made all the difference. It's proof that Earthen Co can lead a full transformation with total confidence, wherever our clients happen to be.
